David passes away

My brother, David Payne died March 4, 2019. He had been mobility impaired for several years and was living in a nursing home for the past 3 years. He died of heart failure.

In addition to his clever mind, David had many skills. He was a consummate chef and used that skill to work his way thru college. He had degrees in geology and chemistry and at the time of his disability retirement, he was working in the Federal Aviation Administration as a risk manager

David and I enjoyed many activities. We spent time sailing, cooking, camping out, playing guitar together and traveling in addition to discussing all the latest science fiction books and movies, We were glad that he was able to move to Boise and spend the last 6 years of his life near us.
